The Mizuno Pro M-13 Irons, the evolution of the Pro 243, feature three distinct forged constructions strategically engineered to optimize performance across the bag. Long irons deliver increased ball speed and forgiveness, mid irons emphasize controlled distance and consistency, and short irons provide exceptional precision and feedback.

With compact, tour-preferred shaping, consistent ball flight, and Mizuno’s signature feel enhanced by modern materials, the M-13 fits perfectly between a traditional player’s cavity back and a player’s distance iron.

Forged Performance Technologies

Long Irons – Pocket Cavity Grain Flow Forged Construction

The long irons combine Chromoly 4120 with 431 stainless steel to create Mizuno’s thinnest-ever Contour Ellipse Face at just 1.37mm—approximately 35% thinner than the Pro 243. This design generates significantly higher ball speeds and added forgiveness while maintaining the responsive feel Mizuno is known for.

Mid Irons – Micro-Slot Grain Flow Forged Construction

As precision becomes more critical, the mid irons utilize a Micro-Slot design that creates a face up to 0.33mm thinner and more flexible. This delivers controlled speed gains and consistent distance gapping without sacrificing accuracy.

Short Irons – One-Piece Grain Flow Forged HD

The scoring clubs are forged from a single piece of 1025 Elite Steel using Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged HD process, providing unmatched feel, feedback, and shot control where precision matters most.
